Traveling Beyond Lima

Heading south to Paracas, Huacachina, Arequipa or Cusco? Public buses can look cheaper, but taxis to terminals, waiting time and extra transfers add up. Peru Hop offers hotel pickups, hop-on hop-off flexibility, stops at hidden gems public buses skip, and onboard hosts who share local stories. It’s also an easy way to meet other travelers. Public buses suit locals and fluent Spanish speakers who want to travel direct.

FAQ

What’s the easiest way from Lima airport to Miraflores?

For most travelers, it’s Airport Express Lima. You buy one ticket, find our counter near Exits 2 and 3, and staff walk you to the bus. It drops you at one of four stops in Miraflores for much less than a taxi. If you land very late or have lots of luggage, a private transfer or an official taxi booked inside the terminal is a better fit.

What if my flight is delayed?

If you bought your ticket online, just take the next bus. Online tickets are valid for any bus on any day for six months. The last bus leaves the airport at 10:00 PM, so have a backup plan if your flight is running very late.

Do I need to book in advance?

No, you can buy at our airport counter with cash or card. Booking online is still easier, and online ticket holders get priority boarding if a bus fills up.

Limitations

Prices, timetables and travel times can change, and Lima traffic can make the airport trip much longer than expected. Check our current timetable and prices before you travel, and confirm partner schedules directly with each operator.
